Tips on Choosing a Surveillance Camera

Filed under: Security Cameras — admin @ 10:42 pm

1. Should you have a wireless or hardwired surveillance camera?

A. Wireless can be easily installed without a professional. They are portable and you can take them with you when you are on the move. They are extremely inconspicuous.

B. Hardwired are ideal for permanent areas that need monitoring or if your current security
system is hardwired and wireless cameras are not compatible.

2. Should you have a black and white or coloured security camera?

A. Black and white cameras can “see” better in lesser light. They are not detailed as
coloured cameras but if you have a tight budget, they are lower priced.

B. Coloured
surveillance cameras
give you the ability to obtain a more identifiable image of
people and activities taking place in your area.
