Testing a Stun Gun
Test regularly to ensure that it works and batteries are good.
1. To test it press the switch. A charge will fire across the front from the test probe. Do this for only one second durations. Holding it longer may damage the probes and deplete the batteries.
2. After test firing, discharge the unit by touching the probes against a piece of metal. You will see a final spark and then the unit will be safe. This will avoid residue stock in case you touch the probes within five minutes of testing.
